OCD & EDMR Therapist for Women & LGBTQ+ Folks

About Me
I began working in mental health 15 years ago during a time in my life where I was searching for concrete skills and purpose to help myself.
My professional experience spans community mental health, grassroots, peer-led organizations, and, for the past five years, my own private practice.
I am a white, lesbian, neurodivergent Ashkenazi cis-woman, and I am also a mother.
At present, I practice and live on stolen and occupied Osage and Sioux land in St. Louis, MO.

OCD Therapy
OCD robs us of our ability to enjoy our lives and be inside of our bodies in a way that feels good. Getting specific treatment for OCD is highly effective. Healing is possible. I specialize in treating the root causes of OCD and its behaviors using a combination of ERP and I-CBT. Additionally, I also work with people struggling with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), such as skin picking and hair pulling.
EDMR & Trauma Therapy
EMDR facilitates the brain's natural process of processing and integrating memories, allowing traumatic experiences and their effects on the body to be properly stored in the past. Clinically proven to be an effective treatment for trauma, EMDR, when done correctly, is gentle and non-overwhelming. Together, we will develop tools to ensure that trauma processing is as safe and supportive as possible.

EDMR Consultation & Continuing Ed.
I offer workshops on trauma and OCD to mental health organizations and agencies. As an EMDR Consultant, I provide certification hours for EMDR therapists who have completed basic training, as well as supervision for licensed clinicians seeking to expand their skills and grow professionally.
How to Work With Me
I offer in-person therapy in St. Louis, MO based out of my private office. I also offer virtual sessions. Contact me to get started.
