About Me
I began working in mental health 15 years ago during a time in my life where I was searching for concrete skills and purpose to help myself.
My journey began as a crisis counselor at a peer-led, grassroots organization, where I quickly discovered my calling. It was an "aha" moment for me. After years of struggling to find my place in the world, working on the hotline allowed my life to finally make sense.
Over the years, I've served at numerous organizations and non-profits providing therapeutic services to women, queer, and trans individuals. I opened my private practice in 2019.
I earned my LMSW in 2017 from Hunter College School of Social Work, and my LCSW in 2020. In 2023, I became certified in EMDR and in 2025, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
In addition to my clinical work, I deeply enjoy supporting other therapists and parents on their own healing journeys.
I am proud to be an out lesbian therapist and an Ashkenazi Jew.
As a white therapist, I am committed to anti-racism and actively work to avoid replicating colonial or white supremacist dynamics within the therapeutic space. I am also a mother.
